Most money apps want your bank logins and keep your data on their servers. Axion Clarity is built the other way round: everything lives in a local database on your own device and is never transmitted anywhere. Even the fonts are bundled — the app makes no network requests at all, except an opt-in exchange-rate update you trigger yourself.

Before you buy

Where is my data stored?
In a local database on your own computer, and nowhere else. There is no account, no server and no telemetry — the app makes no network requests at all, with one opt-in exception: an "Update rates" button that fetches the day's ECB exchange rates only when you press it.
Which computers does it run on?
Windows 10/11, and macOS on both Apple Silicon and Intel. The installers are small (~3–4 MB) because the app uses your operating system's own web engine rather than bundling a browser.
Why does my computer warn about an unknown publisher?
Because the builds are not code-signed yet — certificates are a paid step we have planned, not a shortcut we are hiding. The download you receive comes only from your personal purchase link. On Windows choose More info → Run anyway; on a Mac right-click the app and choose Open.
Do I get updates?
Yes — free for two years from the day you buy. Your download link is personal to your purchase and serves the current version, so when we ship an improvement the same link gives it to you. After two years the app is still yours and carries on working exactly as it is; you simply stop receiving new versions. Faults are separate and this window does not touch them: if the app is broken or is not what we described we put it right — two years at minimum, six if you bought in the UK. That is about the app being wrong, not about new features. The full position is in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Is this financial advice?
No. Axion Clarity is a planning and education tool. Projections are estimates with a deliberately honest cautious-to-optimistic range, not guarantees, and nothing in the app recommends specific products or providers.
Can I try it before buying?
There's no separate trial download. The screenshots above are the real app, and every copy opens with a choice: start fresh, or explore a built-in demo household first - so you can look around before entering a single number of your own.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from buying to cancel for a full refund, even after you have installed it. We don't ask you to give that right up at checkout, so you keep it. Separately, if the app is faulty, won't install or isn't what we described, tell us when you find out - two years at minimum, six if you bought in the UK - and we'll put it right or refund you.
