Axion Trace for Android: privacy policy

Last updated 22 October 2026

Axion Trace is a personal tracker by One Axion. This policy covers the Android app.

What the app reads

If you switch on Health Connect in Settings, then Connections, and grant permission, Axion Trace reads these from Health Connect: weight, body fat, resting heart rate, sleep, steps, and exercise sessions with their distance. If you allow it, it also reads your earlier history, not only the last 30 days. It never writes to Health Connect. You choose which of these to allow, and you can change or withdraw that at any time in Health Connect's settings.

Where it goes

Nowhere. Everything you enter and everything read from Health Connect is kept on your phone, inside the app. The app has no internet access, so it cannot send your data to us or anyone else. Android does not back it up to your Google account. The only copies are the backups you make yourself: files you export and send where you choose, and, if you switch it on, a weekly backup file in your phone's Documents folder.

How it is used

Only to show you your own records, trends and progress in the app. We do not sell it, share it, use it for advertising, or use it to decide anything about you, such as employment, insurance or credit. No person at One Axion can see it.

Your licence key

Your licence key is checked on the phone. It contains no health data.

Deleting your data

Settings, then Data & backup, then "Reset everything to factory defaults", or uninstall the app. Either removes everything the app holds on the phone. Backup files you exported, or the weekly file in Documents, are yours to delete.

Not medical advice

Axion Trace is a personal record, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice.

Children

The app is for adults (18 and over).
